QuickBooks to an executive financial snapshot

DashPoint Analytics automated financial reporting from QuickBooks Online for an owner-led business, replacing manual month-end exports with an executive snapshot that refreshes on a schedule.

The problem

An owner-led business ran on QuickBooks Online and spreadsheets. Month-end numbers took days and were out of date when they arrived.

What we built

An automatic connection to QuickBooks Online that feeds reports on profit, cash and trends, plus a one-page summary for the owner that updates itself on a schedule.

BooksDash P&L page: monthly revenue, operating profit and net income with net margin, and a profit bridge from revenue down to net income.
BooksDash, our QuickBooks reporting platform: monthly profitability and a bridge from revenue to net income. Shown with QuickBooks sample company data.
BooksDash Revenue and MRR page: monthly recurring revenue movement split into new, expansion, contraction and churn, and revenue by top customer.
Recurring revenue movement by month and revenue by customer, refreshed automatically from QuickBooks. Shown with QuickBooks sample company data.
BooksDash Customers page: net and gross revenue retention over the last 12 months and a cohort grid of customers still buying by month.

Outcome

Current financials on demand, without manual exports.
