This policy explains what DashPoint Analytics, LLC ("DashPoint", "we") collects when you visit dashpointanalytics.com, and how we use it. Questions can be sent through our contact form.

Information you give us

When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, company and message. We use this only to reply and to discuss working together. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

If you sign up for our newsletter (in the site footer, or by ticking the box on the contact form), we email you a link to confirm, and nothing else is sent until you do. After that we keep your email address to send you one email a month. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, which takes effect immediately.

Information collected automatically

We use these services to understand how the site is used and to reach people interested in our work:

  • Google Analytics records pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and the site that referred you. It uses cookies. Our Google Analytics account is linked to Google Ads, so Google may use visits to show our ads to past visitors on other sites.
  • Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use pages, such as clicks, scrolling and anonymized session replays, so we can improve the site. Text typed into forms is masked.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag lets us see aggregate information about visitors' professional characteristics, such as industry and job function, and show LinkedIn ads to people who visited our site. LinkedIn does not share your identity with us.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies:Google,Microsoft andLinkedIn.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • You can opt out of LinkedIn ad targeting in your LinkedIn settings.
  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load the LinkedIn Insight Tag and we turn off Google's advertising features. We treat that signal as a request to opt out of sharing your information for advertising.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Send a request through our contact form and we will respond.

Keeping information

We keep messages you send us for as long as they are needed for our business relationship. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's retention settings.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
